Exhibit Opening: Five Friends from Japan
Learn about the school and home life of Japanese children and the similarities and differences between kids in the U.S. and other countries. Listen to many kinds of Japanese music in Shoko’s living room, learn about Japanese food in Aisa’s Kitchen and Tofu Shop, dress up in traditional Japanese attire in Sakiko’s bedroom, visit a Japanese classroom, and more.Opening day activities include Japanese taiko drumming with TAIKOnnection and martial arts demonstrations by Rochester Phoenix Aikido and Fitness Club.
