Martial Arts Festival 2011

  Rochester Aikido Club demonstrated at Martial Arts Festival held at Stardust Ballroom, Edgerton Community Center, Rochester NY. In the festival, 10 groups demonstrated their style including Okinawa Karate, European sword, Chinese Kung Fu, Shotokan Karate, Korean Tae Kwon Do, Kyokushin Karate, and Aikido. Victor Williams Sensei and 3 other students demonstrated Aikido Randori.

We had a new friend joined in youth class today. It was more cloudy than usual.

Sunday Training

 It's snowing in Rochester but was sunny day today.

  We had kids and general class this morning as usual. Kids enjoyed playing and training Aikido. We focused on Ukemi and sward swinging today. In the general class, we practiced basic techniques and reversed techniques (KAESHI-WAZA).

We had Bob Poresky sensei's class today. About 20 people enjoy training, including beginners and from other martial arts. It was fun as always.
