Seminar July 14/15: with Terry Leonard Sensei & Jack Smith Sensei

Hope this reminder finds everyone enjoying their summer,

On the weekend of July 14/15, Capital Aikikai of Syracuse will hold a seminar with Terry Leonard Sensei & Jack Smith Sensei, long time students of Akira Tohei Shihan (formerly of Midwest Aikido Center, Chicago). Tohei sensei was the Japanese Shihan who played the major important role of introducing our art to the Midwestern U.S.A.

We will have a pot luck / picnic (hots/burgers and sides) at our home following the Saturday session. 

We look forward to seeing everyone for what we believe will be an enjoyable experience, best to ALL,

Kids Aikido Summer Camp, Rochester Phoenix Aikido Club

Summer camp for Youth Aikido class will be either 8/8-10 or 8/15-17. More details will be announced.

The adult class on Monday, May 28th is cancelled. There will be classes as
normal on Sunday May 27th.

The Youth class is cancelled Sunday, June 3rd.

Capital Aikikai Gassyuku (Summer Camp) 2012

CAF Gasshuku 2012 is scheduled for July 27-29 at the new Capital Aikikai dojo in Silver Sprint, MD. Takeguchi Shihan and CAF yudansya will instruct.

When: July 27-29, 2012.

Where: Capital Aikikai is located at 923 Sligo Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Registration Fee: $80 for the full weekend.

• The dojo will be closed Sundays April 8th and 15th.

• Youth class on Wednesday Aril 11th will also be cancelled.

• There will be Sword School for youth ages 9+ on Saturday April 21st from 10am to 12 noon.

• I may add a new youth class (Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:00pm ) for students blue belt and above, or age 10 plus.  Let me know if you are interested.

Classes are as usual – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm – 8:00pm -- Since Christmas and New Years fall on a weekend no alteration to regular schedule.
